Get more out of Grok in one hour.

A free class. Plain English. Bring your phone.

You've heard about Grok. Maybe you've even tried it. In one hour I'll show you how to talk to it so you get useful answers, the prompts I use every day, voice mode, and quick wins you can use in your business that same afternoon.

1-hour free class · Beginners welcome · In person at the Lake, with online (Zoom) sessions coming too. 🌅

What you'll learn

Stop guessing. Start getting answers.

Most people type one line into Grok, get a so-so answer, and give up. Here's what we fix in one hour.

How to talk to Grok

Give it the background a smart new hire would need, and the answers get a whole lot better.

Prompts that work

A simple fill-in-the-blank prompt recipe, plus a few of my everyday prompts you can copy.

Voice mode

Talk to Grok out loud, hands free. Great in the truck, on the dock, or between customers.

Quick wins for your business

Customer replies, social posts, review responses and quick research, done in minutes, not a whole afternoon.

Smart, safe habits

What to share, what to keep private, and how to double-check an answer before you use it.

A live look at real AI helpers

See the AI helpers I use in my own business doing real work: morning news, drafts and to-dos.

Before & after

Same Grok. Better question. Way better answer.

This is the kind of upgrade we practice in class. Pick a task and compare.

✗ Weak prompt

"Write a Facebook post for my restaurant."

Sample answer

Come visit our restaurant! We have great food and friendly service. Stop by today!

✓ Strong prompt

"I own a lakeside burger spot at Lake of the Ozarks with a boat dock. Write a Facebook post for this Friday's live music night, 6 to 9 PM. Warm, local, a little fun. Under 60 words, one emoji max. End with: Dock or drive, we'll save you a seat."

Sample answer

Friday night on the water 🎶 Live music from 6 to 9, smash burgers off the grill, and the best sunset seats at the Lake. Pull up to the dock or park out front, bring the crew and stay a while. Dock or drive, we'll save you a seat.

✗ Weak prompt

"Reply to this bad review."

Sample answer

We're sorry you had a bad experience. We strive for excellence in everything we do. Please contact us.

✓ Strong prompt

"I run a boat rental at the Lake. A customer left 2 stars: their boat was 30 minutes late and nobody called. Write a reply that owns the mistake with no excuses, says we now text when a boat is running late, and offers 20% off next time. Under 70 words. Sign it Chris, owner."

Sample answer

You're right, and I'm sorry. Waiting 30 minutes with no call is no way to start a lake day. We now text every customer the moment a boat is running behind. I'd love a chance to make it right: 20% off your next rental, just mention this review. Chris, owner

✗ Weak prompt

"Make me a plan for the week."

Sample answer

Monday: plan your week. Tuesday: work on important tasks. Wednesday: check your progress. Thursday: keep going. Friday: review the week.

✓ Strong prompt

"I'm a realtor at the Lake. This week: showings Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, a closing Friday at 10, and I want 3 Facebook posts. I work 8 to 5 and keep Wednesday mornings for family. Give me a simple day-by-day plan with my top 3 priorities each day."

Sample answer
  • Mon: confirm Tuesday's showing, draft all 3 posts, follow up with 5 leads
  • Tue: post #1, prep and run the showing, send the buyer a recap
  • Wed (from noon): client calls, post #2, order a closing gift
  • Thu: showing, final walkthrough check, send docs to title
  • Fri: closing at 10, post #3 celebrating it, plan next week

Sample answers, written to show the difference a better prompt makes. Real Grok answers will vary.

Hey, I'm Chris Booth.

AI the Easy Way · Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri

I help regular folks and small businesses get real use out of AI, without the jargon or the overwhelm.

I use Grok every day to run my own business, and I teach it the way I'd want to learn it: plain English, phone in hand, and you leave knowing what to do next. Lake time is precious. Let's not waste it on tech headaches.

🚗 Real-world: I built an AI helper for a Missouri car dealership that drafts follow-ups, and nothing goes out without a person saying yes.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Short version: just show up. 😎

Is it really free?+
Yes. It's a 1-hour free class. No card, no catch. At the end I'll briefly mention my hands-on paid class for anyone who wants AI helpers set up for them. Totally optional.
What do I need to bring?+
A phone or laptop with Grok. Install the Grok app (iPhone or Android) or open grok.com, and sign in. A free account is fine for what we cover.
Do I need to be techie?+
Nope. If you can send a text, you're good. We go step by step.
In person or online?+
Both. The first session is in person at Osage Beach Library, Wed, Oct 21, 12:00 to 1:00 PM CT. Online (Zoom) sessions are coming. Pick the one you want when you register, and Zoom folks get the link by email.
Is this an official xAI class?+
No. It's an independent class from AI the Easy Way that teaches you to use Grok. Not affiliated with or endorsed by xAI.
How is this different from the $97 class?+
This free class is about using Grok well. The paid hands-on AI Helpers class ($97) is where we set up your own Grok Bot helpers together, for your business. Totally optional.
